On Monday, September 4th several flights were diverted to the Greater Sudbury Airport
due to severe weather in the Greater Toronto Area. Both domestic and international
flights were diverted to GSA, while pilots waited for weather to calm to be able to arrive
at Toronto Pearson Airport.
The FBO’s (fixed-base operators) demonstrated excellent service, and ensured both the
aircraft and passengers were taken care of during their duration at the Greater Sudbury
Airport—all working extra shifts without hesitation on their long weekend.
