And they will do the same thing with every aspect of the building (such as the dining room, cafe- teria, committee rooms, the Chamber, and caucus rooms) to make sure there are no surprises. The West Block is such an iconic building, and the work done here will facilitate the continued func- tioning of our democratic process today and into the future.” Upon their first visit to the West Block, Gameiro says “People are just in awe of the Chamber and surrounding courtyard.
