British Columbia is fixed to cater to the global
energy marketplace with 150 years’ supply of
natural gas while requiring only 30 per cent re-
covery rate of its known reserves. The prov-
ince is working with companies and investors
around the world to promote its liquefied nat-
ural gas (LNG) production with 18 LNG project
proposals already at various stages of progress.
“Every single major company that’s involved
in energy in the world now has started to make
significant investments in Canada or British Co-
lumbia,” said B.C.’s Deputy Premier and Min-
ister for Natural Gas Development, Rich Cole-
man, in a recent interview with Business Elite
Canada.
