In today’s world, renewable resources are lim-
ited. Economic security is a growing concern
and toxic emissions are at an all-time high, but
it’s not all despair. Alberta-based Ingenuity Lab
is endeavouring to solve the global challenges
that all of society faces. “The focus of Ingenu-
ity Laboratory is to use advanced technology
to solve some of the grand societal problems
through technological innovation and deploy-
ment,” said the Director of Ingenuity Lab, Dr.
Carlo Montemagno. By 2035 global energy
needs will have increased by more than 35 per-
cent. Ingenuity Lab has changed the energy
