Toronto’s Sunnybrook Hospital which, in 1946, was the
largest healthcare facility in the British Commonwealth.

The University of Toronto’s Terrace Donnelly Centre
for Cellular and Biomolecular Research, which was the
first research centre in Canada to use a double facade
ventilation system, featuring occupant-controlled mo-
torized louvres and window blinds.

Canada’s first combination MRI and Cardiac Catheter-
ization lab at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre’s Imag-
ing Research Centre for Cardiac Intervention in Toronto.

The first cogeneration energy plant for emergency
power generator in Canada – an award-winning instal-

To add to this list, the firm is presently working in Mon-
treal on what will be the largest hospital in North Amer-
ica. Occupying 2 ½ city blocks, the Centre Hospitalier
de l’Université de Montréal will be a massive $2 billion
plus, 3.8 million-square-foot hospital, which HH Angus
is designing in Revit
