cess,” explains Tuckey. BILD
members’ jobs are fundamen-
tal to the continued growth
and prosperity of the GTA re-
gion. One of BILD’s challeng-
es has been advocating with
government to recognize the
importance of the industry, as
well as its economic impact,
both local and provincial.
There are three main ob-
jectives of the association;
BILD’s first and foremost goal
is to be a thought leader on
urban issues in the GTA and
the voice of the industry.
Tuckey, a planner by trade,
brings a certain expertise and
set of experiences to his role
as president and CEO of BILD.
