exponential growth for their community.
SATIKW CROSSING
A bridge in both the literal and physical
sense, the completion of the Satikw Cross-
ing Bridge in 2015 joined Penticton Indian
Band Reserve lands—and economies— to
the City of Penticton, previously separated
by the Okanagan River. The bridge is the
result of 20 years of negotiations with the
Provincial and Federal government. Mean-
