had to start construction on a new building—a
18,000 square-foot, multi-million dollar facility
slate for completion in October. Within the next
couple of years the company will also be open-
ing a partnership division in Huston, Texas.
“From a logistics perspective that will give us
greater access to the market in the U.S. In the
next couple of years we’re just going to con-
tinue on the same growth pattern,” said Car-
penter.
Carpenter credits LJ Welding’s growth, not
only to it’s technological expertise and innova-
tions in welding automation, but also simply to
meeting the discriminating demands of its cus-
tomers.
“Our products have always been driven
by what our clients need. We don’t come up
with these ideas by ourselves, it’s very much
in conjunction with the problems that our cli-
ents have and seeking a solution, because they
can’t find any equipment out there that exists,
so our success is very much a collaborative af-
fair in this way.”
