cians and optometrists couldn’t legally op-
erate a business together but IRIS worked
to change legislation and make improve-
ments to the industry. Following the death
of Dr. Jean, IRIS underwent changes in-
ternally, looking at ways to improve profit-
ability through cost-cutting measures and
